If you have seen Lotus live, then you might have noticed that besides all his future jazz glitch bass sound that's mostly instrumental, there are a few tracks that have vocals. After listening to this week's Essential Mix from Hudson Mohawke (previous post...), I went back and dug out Flying Lotus' Essential Mix that aired in November 2008. It took the the Essential Mix of the Year crown last year and is still years ahead of its time. Head over here and download it. Definitely worth your while!
