I can no longer cast baseless aspersions on Seattle simply because it is not Portland. Seattle is great! Where else can you eat a grapple and then go to this building? I stayed with our valued field agent Jonathor. J-Thor works here, which was showing this impressive exhibition. He also volunteers at Seattle's zine library, Zapp, which is part of Hugo House. Also, one of his housemates is a member of the impressive Vera Project.

Notes:
Moments before I was supposed to get on the bus to our fair Neighbor to the North, I encountered a zombie parade on the park blocks. They walked me almost all the way to the Greyhound station.

Decision Time! was played for the second time in all of history (to my knowledge). It was AWESOME. We went through ALL of the Decision Time! cards, which meant that people had to soak their heads, wear something from the kitchen, have make-up applied to them, dance a little dance, improvise a duet (Gwar this time), and worse. Seattle, you are awesome!

(Show and Tell will be posted separately.)

I took the day off today to accompany Nate and his class on a field trip to a pumpkin patch. The plan was for everyone to meet at the pumpkin patch at 10:30am this morning. Simple enough.

The only problem was they never sent out a flier with the details. The teacher hung a flier outside of the classroom at the preschool. The last time La picked Nate up she asked for a pen so she could copy down the info but the teacher said she didn't have to since the flier and info was posted on the class website. Last night we went to the url and there was nothing there. Actually the link to the flier was a local link from the instructor's computer so it never made it online. There's no point in going to the preschool because, well, there's not going to be anyone there.

We tried calling the school but nobody is there, left voicemails but nobody has called back. La even friended one of the teachers on facebook and hasn't heard anything.

What kind of ass-haired planning is this?

I know the farm is in Snohomish somewhere but there's probably hundreds of farms in snohomish, so that's pretty much a crap shoot. Nate knows whats up and I think he mostly understands but, sheesh. Now I gotta find a suitable pumpkin patch and fun the heck out of him this afternoon. We're going to find the most epic pumpkins ever.
