the council of ten watched the battle from their seats. asteroth, with worried eyes, looked into theo ne remaining reality that he had under his care. the reality of the heart, where passions burned furiously, regaurdless of the consequences. he silently hoped and prayed that when the fighting was all over they wouldnt be too late. gothemos was pummeled into the ground again and again, the rounds smashing him deeper and deeper into the already blood spattered crater, the gaurdian got back up shakily, his black clothes torn, revelaing the pasty skin under neath. his black eye liner smudged with dirt as he sputtered and coughed against the constant barrage of explosions. "that all you got? im the gaurdian of the reality of pain, darkness, and bad music. this is nothing. dear diary, today, i was jumped by a gaggle of cheerleaders. they killed my dog, stole my cupcakes, and laid waste to my gundam model collection." again, the words rose from the inked muscle that he had written them on, glowed green, and then materialised.

the spider puppet, no longer holding its form, fell apart as the black strings that held it together rearranged the abdomen and legs. they attached to the puppet king and formed a shield of sorts. "THERE HE IS GIRLS! LETS GO TEAM!" barney fifes worst nightmare and best dreams were coming true all at the same time. he let his gaurd down jsut for a second to kiss one of the cheerleaders while a second jumped up behind him. "um... like, excuse me? but we dont like YOURE kind here." barney fife was still in a dream state as she pulled out a rather large club with nails stabbed into it from her shirt. this left quite an interesting impression on barney fife as he was slammed into the ground while the others stomped on his body with spiked kleats.

"GREAT MOUTH! HELP ME!" the great mouth heard barney fifes cries, but was too busy recording this so he could upload it to youtube later. "five more minutes." it said non chalantly as the puppet kings body slowly became something of a mess of plastic parts, string, and gears strewn across the battle field. gothemos looked upwards towards segroth and smiled. "this iwll make an excellent live journal entry." he said quickly as he walked away whistling happily. segroths mighty hand slammed down in front of gothemos angrily. "your job is not complete yet young one. look, he still yet revives his slave, the puppet king lives!" to gothemos horror, segroth was correct. "not good!" he squeaked as barney fife, the puppet king unleashed his full fury upon the hapless gaurdian.

"usted ha oído mi súplica para la ayuda, con todo usted me imita, usted tiene necesidad de asistirme en esta amenaza calamitosa, pero usted me imitó, desafiado me para luchar para que la derecha viva. ¡su realidad compañera de los miembros del Consejo está en el peligro mortal de la destrucción, pero usted piensa lo pero un juego! ¡LE DEMOSTRARÉ EL RATH ABSOLUTO DEL REY DE MARIONETA! ¡AHORA USTED MORIRÁ! ¡TORMENTA DE LA MARIONETA DEL MARIACHI!" the puppet king shreiked with rage as the sky darkened with the black tring, wrapping themselves around the broken peices of his former body and reforming them into billions of mariachi assasins, each with dead white glass eyes, their hands carried tommy guns loaded with grenade rounds lined with razors.

"¡LISTO USTED MISMO QUE SE REBANARÁ ÉPOCAS UN TRILLÓN ENCIMA! ¡TIFÓN DE LA BALA!" he screamed as the great mouth luaghed and rejoiced in his slaves fury. "THAT IS IT! THIS IS MY TRUEST, MY MMORBID POWER! THE TIFON DE LA BALA!" he screamed as the insects inside of his mouth buzzed with a constant energy, glowing a deathly red color. the mariachi puppets were flifted into the air by there strings, clacking, chittering, and making unholy noises as they did so, slowly chanting their order. "tifon... de la... bala.... tifon... de la... bala... tifon... de la... bala..."

they formed a gaint hollow orb that unraveled to reveal a gaint three pronged claw. "¡ENTRELÁCELO Y BÓRRELO!" barney screamed, the threads that held him together straining to hold his body together, all the while forming new bonds with his mind, heart and soul, driving his lust for vengeance ever further into the cusp of the great mouths will. the claw rocketed towards gothemos with demonic speed and flung him high into the air. "FELLOW COUNCIL MEMBERS! HELP ME!" he screamed, but his cries landed on deaf ears. "this is your battle gothemos, surely you are capable of winning this battle!" segroth commanded in a stern voice, the gaurdian now only the size of his pupil, with claw wrapped itself around his body till nothing more then a solid mass of billions of puppets could be seen. "any last words?" barney fife said, his mind in complete and utter joy, in utter satisfaction that his opponent would finally feel the true rath of the puppet king.

the great mouth salivated onto the mass, covering it in a thick rubbery substant that acted to hold the ball together. "¡SOPLO DE MUERTE!" he yelled out. inside the giant moon sized mass, was total darkness, gothemos cowering in the center, trapped by the thick black threads that wrapped and pulled in almost every direction. "im not afriad of you!" he screamed, the lanky teen in dark clothes, faded jet black hair, and a pale white face said, the blue viens in his forhead pumping furiously. "im not.. afriad of you...oh crap... im going to-" the puppets eyes lit up like christmas tree lights, glowing bright green, red, purple, black, orange and cyan. he heard the clacking of joints as the pointed their guns towards the center of the mass, some of the guns jabbing into his stomach, the back of his head,in his arms. gothemos had one option left.

"leger van de duisternis waarvan ik in solidariteit beslis, aan mijn hulp in mijn tijd van behoefte kom en undefeatable versla aangezien slechts u kunt. de demonnen van hart I verlenen u mijn bloed in ruil voor de duisternis en de onsterfelijkheid die u op uw loyale bedienden nalaat! VERSCHIJN VÓÓR ME!" he said silently, time slowed down for a second as the triggers were pulled and the hammers slamming down upon the bullets back, there was a slowly growing smile on gothemos face as he felt the first bullet slowly rip into his body. his eyes rolled out of his head as light grey smoke poured from his sockets. slowly little blue flames appeared in the spaces where ever there could be one found, the bullets roaring slowlydown the barrels of the tommy guns as the flames formedarms and legs and a single red eye.

gothemos body withering away as a skeleton wrapped in a dark cloak with four scythes slashed away at the body. the bullets exploded out of the barrels as the last thing gothemos saw was a fast aproaching wall of blades.

"this... will be... glor... ious... fath... er..."

morgan and caasi had been waiting along side the grey hole for more then half a year, which in the remains of the dream dimension was nothing short of amazing, the little plot of land they were on kept changing scenery as rapidly as morgan and caasi could blink. but this soon got old after morgan blinked them selves right in the middle of the pink dutch speaking squirrels dinner table. "youve got to kidding me... HES STILL ALIVE!?" morgan shrieked and quickly blinked them outo f the kitchen before the quirrel knew what hit him. they arrived back in the middle of the singolarita dimensionale, but it was vastly different then when caasi and morgan had first arrived there. "what happened to this place?" she asked quietly as the chocking scenery settled.

the fourty acre plane that once served as the nexus for all three dimensions was now shattered and strewn across a distance three times larger then it couldve supported. the various islands fluctuating between lightning clouds and ponds of plum pudding. morgan heard a loud growl eminate from his stomach at the sight of the plum pudding, and then couldnt resist himself as he saw a lonesome giant lifesaver, twiddling its thumbs. then morgan recognized it. it was the very same lifesaver that had escaped his rath when he first arrived. "this is terrible..." he said calmly. "i know... its horrible how much these golden strands have destroyed already. "i wasnt talking about that, i was talking about the lifesaver over there.... HE STILL LIVES! AND HE WILL DIE BY MY HAND!" morgan said in a crazed, hungry tone of voice. "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME!?" the lifesaver said as it put on a kamakazi headband, ripped out a sub machine gun, and went to war with morgan.

caasi, however, chose to ignore the sounds of massive armies of planes, tanks, and soldiers colliding in an epic war to decide whether or not morgan would eat that very lifesavor. "o...k. you have fun with that, im going to see if doow or that q guy are here." she said, her suddenly purple hair melting into a jet black that smelled of licorice. she hopped from island to island, checking every square inch of the plane in case she missed something. she happened upon what looked like a remenant of the creature, bandaged up and dressed like a vietnam veteran. "ive seen things that iwll blow your mind!" it said shakily, but very excited. "ive done things that are too horrifying for words... oh god..." it cried out loud, causing hotdogs to drip from its eyes. caasi decided it owuldnt leave her alone until she tlaked to it. "what happened? what did you see and do?" she asked, kneeling down besides the wartorn creature. "i didnt wash my hands while watching the news... it was bad man... really bad..." she slapped her forhead trying to erase the image of the whle situation. "im sorry to hear that... do you happen to know where doow or brian are?"

the creatures body split open and fell to multiple peices of iron. "i havent seen hide or hair of them, last i saw doow, me and the rest of the fragments of the creatures were going up against the balls of chasm... those giants golden, glowing balls of his... they decimated us in one swoop. wipe out two thirds of our army... and then it shattered this place." caasi listened intently while she watched they war escalate into a full blown debate tournament. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" the lifesaver screamed in protest, the smoke from the artillery fire giving it a brownish tinge to it. morgan, equally as determined with patches of ash spattered all over his body replied in kind. "NEVER! GET IN MY BELLY!" it was a ridiculuos enough reason to suspect something about the lifesaver, but she couldnt be sure.

"if youll excuse me a moment. MORGAN! KNOCK IT OFF!" she ran over to the lifesavers podium, hoping to get there before morgan did something stupid and regetable. "excuse me, but have you seen- MORGAN! STOP THAT ALREADY - either doow or brian?" she asked, trying to calm her voice after berating her husband for trying to eat the last survivor. "yes actually, i have, right before chasms golden balls slammed us into our current state, they merged with their underworld counterparts. very interesting - HEY!" caasi couldnt resist the urge to chomp into the lifesavers top. the resulting crack spread through out its body, and she heard the creature in the background cry out something in despair. "NOOOO! DONT KILL MY DINNER!" she giggled as she and morgan finished off the lifesaver, it was good having something in their stomachs other then air. "that was good..." morgan sighed as he burped satisfied with the end effect over all. "yeah actually, i did. the dinner said that doow and brian merged with their underworld counter parts... i dont know anything after that because i started eating it right before it could say anything else."

the three creatures and resaec melted up out of the ground near the grey hole and waited for nearly an hour before morgan and caasi arrived of a puff of cherry scented smoke. "hey! long time no see resaec. any luck trying to find the inner beast?" morgan asked cheerfully. the overlord of the nightmare dimension had a gloomy look on his face that made the rainbow colored wig on his head depressing. "no. we haven ot been able to locate her but i had one of my clones follow her just in case this situation arrived." he said as he flipped his black hair. the three creautres seemed intrested rather deeply in a piece of lint they had found on the back of resaecs shirt. morgan noticed this right away and snapped his fingers. "HEY! you three, any luck trying to find more fragmants of yourselves?" morgan said curious to know the results.

"nothing... thanks to resaec here. but... youll be interested to here this. while we were going through the portal of screaming shadows, we over heard one of the shadows-" resaec held up his hand to silence jim, but like the rest of the time they had been traveling together, the creatures never listened. "as i was saying, the shadow told us of a council of the ten realities, said that there was a king of puppets floating around there gathering and saying something to them." jim nodded to the others and the three continued their fruitless staring contest with the lint. needless to say and four minutes of static silence, they all blinked and the lint was giving a giftcard for barnes and noble. "i wanted that.." jon said patheticly.

morgan pointed towards the slowly swirling grey hole with his thumb and then jammed his forfinger into it. hoping desperately something mightve happened to his finger, jim, jon, and cris did the exact same thing, mainly because they were bored, and it seemed like a good idea at the time. then resaec laughed evil, and then did the same thing out of fear that something might not happen to his finger. caasi couldnt understand what they were all going on about and ismply walked into it. "just walk into it... damn..." she said, leading the group into the grey hole as it closed behind them. she noticed something fairly quickly as she walked face first into a wall. "wow... why did we go in here again?" she asked, just to ask the question.

a voice, high pitched, distorted, whiny, and a bit of a wimp answered back. "because, we are in great need of protection from the golden strands."

the inner beast looked through the puppet kings eyes and saw a sight that even the human part of her couldnt comprehend. 'hes talking to the very stars themselves!?' sarahs voice came in loud and clear in thei nner beast mind. "looks that way... do you know how long this sepperation process is going to take?" she asked sarah, not caring if barney fife could hear her. 'not a clue... i hope aneehs alright.' thei nner beasts iron heart felt heavy. "nope... shes dead. she tried to kill off morgan but she was caught in her own trap." the puppet kings glass eye swiveled around till its massive pupil focused on thei nner beast. "good to know you are both doing alright. ive got to get back to business."

barney fife, the puppet king, felt his glass eye return to its normal position. the council of ten were stars, sentient beings who watched over, andi n some cases, guided the very lives in their own realities towards common goals. he felt his joints twist andcreak as he moved about the small table that the ten sat around, in front of each were various screens , flitting between viewpoints of people at a rpaid rate till they all shown what barney fife was seeing. "what is this plan that you speak of, puppet king?" the eldest of the ten, segroth said in ggruff and impatient tones. his was the reality of truth, no matter how horrid or terrible, this is what he most wanted. "i... that is to say we... have a common enemy which resides in asteroths reality, the reality of the mind. these golden strands have all but devestated all our lands, andi have seen first hand what they are capable of doing." segroth took a deep breath and crossed his fiery arms together.

"what is your point puppet king? we have more important matters to deal with then just those of tiny asteroths," they all laughed heartily except for barney fife and asteroth. they met each others eyes and the mighty star slammed his fist on the top, not more then four feet from barney fifes position. "WE MUST UNITE TO DEFEAT THIS THREAT UPON MY REALITY!" he shouted, throwing a wave of silence over the other nine. "of course dear brother, we do realize that if even one of our order fall, the rest are doomed to follow your fate. so it is written." barney fife looked at the floating brain like thing that he had hi jacked. the three remaining nsowglobes shown images of morgan, the creatures, and caasi. they showed the images of the great battle between the door of existence and the chasm of non existence like never before.

"i must insist that we unite together as one against this threat, the longer we stand around gabbing our mouths like little ducks, the stronger those things become. they have already split the creature into three, taken down theo verl ord of the nightmare dimensions kingdom, devoured four of the five dimensions, and lain waste to an inummerable amount of lives!" barney shouted, no longer wanting to keep his cool. "i can not, and i will not makel ight of this situation. mil marionetas de la araña de la tonelada." he summoned his giant spider and traveled around the table. the council of ten not batting an eye. "the few remaining people you see before you, as well as the inner beast whom resides with in me, cannot wait while you bicker among your selves." he turned towards asteroth, he glaring white eye matching asteroths fiercely fiery red ones. "i ask for you to give your strength to me asteroth. in such a way that will nearly kill you, make you weak enough for a fly to crush your skull should one land on it." asteroth was initially reluctant until barney fife finished his thought. "all in then ame to protect your reality."

segroth, unmoved by barney fifes plea, and feeling threatened by his request, shot a searing solar flare focused into a tight ball, no bigger then a pebble at thep uppet king. "las realidades que doblan." thep uppet king ducked into his already damaged spider puppet. "you waste your words barney fife, puppet king. if you truly wish to garner our strength so easily, then you must defeat each of us in combat. when you have won against one of us, we will each in turn give you a tenth of our total power, strength and cunning." the flare slammed through the spider puppets massive tritanium frame, melting three inches off of the spiders ten inch thick armor plating. "you want me to fight you? for the fate of asteroths reality... you wish to nogotiate the fate of ones reality through battle!?" he screamed through the spiders speakers. asteroth picked the spider up with two of his fingers andl ooked into the puppets eyes. "this is how we have done things for many millenia. do not judge us, for we shall soon see, if my reality is fit to be saved." the spiders armor covering was repaired, reinforced, and resealed.

barney fife was hesitant to answer, but the inner beasts voice urged him onward. "well help you any way we can. youve seen my strength in battle." this did nothing to reassure barney fife of his psotition in things. "may the great mouth protect me..." just then, the infinite buzzing of the great mouth entered his mind. "i will always revive my slaves." "i thought you abandoned me!?" barney fife said suddenly both relieved and terrified at his masters words. "i may have abandoned you, but you still contain my vast puppet army inside yourself... plus... you kinda owe me twelve bucks."

the council of of ten sat down for the first time in several hundred years, each elder was responsible for one aspect of reality. each one knowing of the golden strands threat. "ah... asteroth, i see that three of your assistants are not present during.... no four now... i wonder what could have happened to them?" the grand overseer said without hesitation. "it is the golden strands my lord, theyve over taken my realm... i fear that not even the vigilante group who is currently fighting the threat of the golden strands will be enough to statiate the situation." asterroth said, his mind a buzz with the problems of his realm. "well, what do you suppose we can do? it seems that the pentulma have already taken steps towards giving them the help they required, although with their track record as of late... it would be in our best interest, and the interest of all those who have... survived the catastrophic events thus far, to seek our advice. talmos, do you have a bearing on where they are at the moment?"

telmos, a floating brain like thing with wires and snowglobed glued onto his front for no other reason then for decorative purposes hummed silently for a few minutes before speaking. "no. i do not." "you arent very helpful are you?" the brain floated away before jerkily coming back, thick black string penetrating out of one of his snowglobes. a new voice emerged from the flailing threads. "i do beleive we are in more trouble then i thought my brothers. my name is barney fife, and i am the puppet king."

morgan and caasi had been waiting at the grey hole for several days when the creatures and resaec popped out of the portal of screaming shadows. "NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!" resaec said furiously to morgans amusement. "ITS CALLED THE PORTAL OF SCREAMING SHADOWS FOR A REASON JIM! YOU ARENT SUPPOSED TO COMFORT THEM!" now it was caasis turn to laugh. but her thoughts turned to another surprising thing. "wheres the inner beast?" she said simply. resaec huffed away at the cold air, turning his right hand over to notice that he had been infected by a spiderweb like patter of golden strands. 'how could this have happened? i need to tell mrogan and the others quickly if i am to... no... i wont burden this news to them as well.' he thought to himself sadly. the worried look on his face didnt get past caasi though. "resaec? whats wrong?" the overlord of the nightmare dimension simply turned his banck to her, hiding his hand as he did so.

"othing is wrong iwth me that i cannot fix myself." morgan took no notice of this and simply looked towards the grey and psoke. "ok, were all here methusela... except for thei nner beast, but im sure shell outlast the golden strands. what the-" he was interrupted when a puppet on thick back threads slowly grew from the ground, it was in the image of thei nner beast. it shivvered every once in while, making a clattering noise as it did so. "dont worry, she is with the puppet king. i must go, my king is conversing with the council of ten. they will know what to do." the puppet then exploded, sending peices flying outwards, some landing in the grey hole itself. "ok... that was... NEVER MIND! every one here that out to be here?" there was a general agreement amongst everyone. "hold on... that puppet just now?" caasi said concerned about the inner beasts where abouts, "what did it say about the inner beast?"

morgan gave her a weary look, his eyes told her all she needed to know. 'it said shes with the puppet king, not to worry, and that something about the council of ten.' caasi shrugged. "can we finally cross into the damned grey hole already? me and her have been waiting for what seems like forever now, and franly, even though it was fun, i really dont want to be eaten by the golden strands!" the creatures and resaec nodded slowly on that point. "ok, well cross over... hoefully we dont regret this." caasi was powerless to change their minds. she wanted to wait for the inner beast, but knew the others woldnt wait forever. "alright... i guess ill come along too." "good, because i owuldvej ust picked you up and carried you through the grey hole myself anyways." morgan said with out much thought.

as they got nearer to the grey hole, they realized that it was a lot bigger then they originaly thought. "WHAT THEH ELL IS IT WITH EVERYTHING BEING SO FUCKING BIG!?" morgan shouted in aggrivation. "dunno, but were here at any rate." jim said non chalantly. caasi and resaec had been talking amongst themselves, and general became better aquianted with each other. resaec learned of all the adventures that she and morgan had been through, and caasi just learned the only thing about his castle, was that it was devoured by the golden strands. "yes.. that is theo nly thing new that has happened, that and this." he snapped his fingers, and two clones popped into existence, walking on either side of jim. "you just had to summon those things near me didnt you?" the creature said, slightly annoyed.
