Just got Logos this new Atlas Sound album from Kranky Records.  Only listened through it once, but a couple tracks pop out on the first run through.  Bradford Cox collaborates on both of these tracks that I am posting.  One is with Panda Bear's Noah Lennox and is widely available on the internet music circuit.  This second track is a team-up with Laetitia Sadier of England's Stereoloab and reminds me of Velvet Underground's song The Gift from White Light/White Heat.  Both Quick Canal and The Gift are over eight minutes long, but Quick Canal feels more feel like a narcoleptic rambling between states of consciousness.  Other tracks that weren't included in this post are Kid Kilmax and the title track, Logos.  I will likely post them later.

Currently I am getting ready to wash some flea invested bed linens, thanks to Smudge Julius, while listening to Special Agent Dale Cooper talk about Tibet in episode three of Twin Peaks.  It's crazy because he is throwing rocks at a glass bottle that is balanced on a log as people from the police department name suspects in Laura Palmer's death.  Special Agent Cooper breaks the bottle when they mention Leo Johnson, a truck driver who's wife is involved sexually with Laura Palmer's boyfriend.

Thinking of playing some Chrono Trigger for the Nintendo DS as I drown Smudge's fleas at the laundromat.  Any flea dip recommendations?

Rock on. This is going to get me to dust off my much neglected DS. I can't wait to play it again. Now all I need is Secret of Mana. Come on Nintendo (and Squeenix), put it on the Virtual Console already!
