I'm on the train home from private screening of 'we live in public'
Finally tonight I got around to watching the josh harris story unfold after a decade of watching the visionary human junkie decompile the human condition and lay it all out for all to see.
It was a nice distraction this evening - most enjoyable. thanks to @hadleypaul and those that made it happen.

Tomorrow's Crochet Workshop @ 6.30pm
The first of the crochet workshops is this Thursday 12 November. We will be making pretty flower necklaces (or bracelets). There will be a few different designs to choose from, but no prior crochet experience is needed.
There will be plenty of yummy yarn and a selection of hooks to choose from to help you to create your flowery jewellery. There will also be some leaflets to take home, so you can create these wonderful little things for friends and family as presents.
Looking forward to seeing some known faces and meeting some new ones.

bethere isp are having a BEsocial in birmingham

looks like bethere, my isp of choice is having a gathering of a social social kind on the 18th of November in birmingham. I'm a bit uncertain how a social gathering of adsl subscribers will go but i guess we all share one interest in that we all love the fact that the adsl2+ service bethere supplies is pretty kick ass. good to see another event outside of manchester and london that is a little bit closer to home. I'll be doing my best to get down for a few drinks on the 18th ;0remembering podcampuk
i was just going through my pictures this morning of people that attended the first (only?) podcampuk in birmingham - four organizers from across the uk got together (including me) and we raised £10k to put on the event with 100+ people turning up over the two days. It was where i met a lot of people i still know today and was a really good event. We never really did another one because of the logistics of putting these things together. But i do love a podcamp. Who knows if the conkers tweetup goes well and we find a way to fun fibre maybe we will do another one with a high speed theme around it showing people what can be done with extreme connectivity.
Anyway, i thought i would put up all the photos that i have of the people that had a photo taken infront of the sign to see if you can see yourself.
