I have no idea what a "Twitcher" is, or why these starlings wanted to give them this message.
Nature's Calling
It may be late Fall but nature is still around. I was able to visit the
Chicago Botanical Center as my daughter was singing there. The cacti houses
were open and I was able to find a subject or two to shoot. It was nice to
wander this desert in the Fall, come January I may well go back for a
refresher course in warmth.
The little wood pecker here, I've not identified it yet, was at a wildlife refuge not more than 5 miles from my
home. I dropped my son at school for basketball practice and stopped at the refuge for a walk.
and see what is going on today, right here. I know if I don't find a subject of interest it is because I'm not paying attention. That said, I am dreaming of a far off place...somewhere to talk in a different language, shoot photos of a different culture, and to refresh my eyes. Once I've done that, maybe I will have a better appreciation of the things around me rather than pining for the things that are not...
