I had difficulty selecting a single film for some directors; therefore I selected more than one. These are all directors who have consecutively put out great films; I'm not going to list any directors who have only made a single good film (there are lots of those unfortunately).

Anyway, here are my favorite directors and their best film(s) (in my opinion):

Steven Spielberg:

Best film(s) - Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Martin Scorsese:

Best film(s) - Taxi Driver

Nicolas Roeg:

Best film(s) - Walkabout

Ridley Scott:

Best film(s) - Alien/Blade Runner

Gus Van Sant:

Best film(s) - Drugstore Cowboy

Stanley Kubrick:

Best film(s) - A Clockwork Orange

Werner Herzog:

Best film(s) - Stroszek/Aguirre, the Wrath of God

George A. Romero:

Best film(s) - Martin

David Cronenberg:

Best film(s) - The Dead Zone/Videodrome

Krzysztof Kieslowski:

Best film(s) - Dekalog (TV series)

Tim Burton:

Best film(s) - Ed Wood/Edward Scissorhands

Quentin Tarantino:

Best film(s) - Reservoir Dogs

Jean-Pierre Melville:

Best film(s) - Le samouraï

Frank Darabont:

Best film(s) - The Shawshank Redemption

Hayao Miyazaki:

Best film(s) - Spirited Away

George Lucas:

Best film(s) - Star Wars (episodes IV, V and VI)

Roman Polanski:

Best film(s) - The Tenant

Recommend; Float your rate. 30 year fixed: 4.75% with a 30 day lock.

Market Commentary:

Mortgage pricing and bonds are opening with an improving bias this
morning as the US Dollar is on the rise and pressuring the stock markets
to the downside (DOW opening down over 100 points). While MBS are
slightly improved this morning, rate sheets will be opening flat to
yesterday with the chance of .125 improvements in ARMS

With stocks on the retreat and bonds in favor, you could bias toward
floating here while looking to lock in any gains made today. The
10-year has traded back to 3.34% - where we would be at a lock bias.

The Jobless Claims report came in as expected and unchanged at 505k.
They are down 22% from this spring and slightly better than they were
one year ago. Most economists say this number would have to drop to
about 425k for several weeks to signal that the economy is actually
adding jobs. Florida had the largest drop in claims, while Arkansas,
Oregon, South Carolina, and West Virginia also reported decreases.

We will update you after the Leading Economics Indicator report if it is
a market and price mover.

I have been away from the blogging world since my classes started. But finally its midterm break and i got sometime in my hand for blogging. Today one of my friends, Atunu told me about a great movie/series download site for slow internet users.

Releases are ripped to half of the size of the actual one and quality is almost same (you know it will never be same). They give a lot of download links of different file sharing sites. And i was really glad to find the rips of  TV series like “DEXTER” in 200mb size because i don’t like the 550mb releases for just a little extra quality. I can live with a mediocre quality if it reduces download time almost to half  :)

I have tried earlier to make 60mb releases for cartoons like familu guy, simpsons  and southpark. These guys are doing the same :)  hope they will keep it up

check out the site (click here)

This is another site. This one releases small sized movie rips only (click here)

Below the selection, here the explanations. To tell you the truth? More of the same. Why stop at 16 apps? 1 per category is definitely not enough, specially when each category can be split into 30 categories...

Any enjoy it!

Site: http://nimbuzz.com/

MSN - Ebuddy

Site: http://www.ebuddy.com/mobile.php

TWITTER - Gravity

Site: http://mobileways.de/products/gravity/gravity/

Site: http://www.ustream.tv/mobile

NAVEGADOR - Opera Mini

Site: http://www.opera.com/mini/

Skyfire

Site: http://www.skyfire.com/

FOTO - Photo Browser

Site: http://betalabs.nokia.com/betas/view/nokia-photo-browser

Site: http://www.midomi.com/index.php?action=main.mobile

Here are the most essential Mozilla Firefox extensions I've come across thus-far:

AdBlock Plus (*NOTE* I highly recommend that you install the EasyPrivacy filter subscription for this.)

AdBlock Plus: Element Hiding Helper (*NOTE* I don't understand why this feature does not come with AdBlock Plus by default - it is nearly as good as AdBlock Plus, and is developed by the same developer.)

Clippings

Greasemonkey

Hide Menubar (*NOTE* This extension will soon be obsolete since the current beta version of Mozilla Firefox has native support for hiding the menubar.)

Image Zoom

Inline Google Definitions

Is.GD Creator (*NOTE* I just recently discovered this; highly recommended.)

Nightly Tester Tools (*NOTE* Nightly tester tools is only recommended if you enjoy using nightly/beta builds of Firefox.)

NoScript (*NOTE* This extension is overkill for some users, but for many, it is considered as being an essential add-on.)

Rotate Image

Screengrab

Site Launcher

There you go. That is my list of the most essential Mozilla Firefox extensions I've come across thus-far.

Each of the add-ons I listed are hot-linked to their respective download page at addons.mozilla.org. Simply click on the add-on name to read the full description and reviews; this will ultimately help you decide whether you want to install a particular extension or not.
