I'm a real fanatic of photography, I love it, and I want to be able to devote some time in my life to practiising it properly. To this point, I have only dabbled in it. My passion is black and white, and I even did a darkroom course last year to catch up with what I studied at highschool. It was at the country's last ever public darkroom facility, at the wonderful artstation in Ponsonby. But it is, and will always be a passion of mine.
I will forever be in love with the art of it.
Neues Video belastet Beamten: Mal eben weggeschaut
Wie neue Videos zu dem Polizeiübergriff bei der "Freiheit statt Angst"-Demonstration im September in Berlin zeigen, haben die filmenden Beamten bei dem Vorfall offenbar weggeschaut. In einer Zusammenstellung, die am Freitagnachmittag vom Chaos Computer Club veröffentlicht wurde, sind zum ersten Mal auch Teile von zwei Polizeivideos zu sehen. "Die Bänder belegen, dass die Videobeamten offensichtlich gezielt die Kameras von der Gewalthandlung weggehalten haben", sagt Anwalt Johannes Eisenberg, Strafverteidiger des 37-jährigen H., der seinerzeit von Polizisten niedergeschlagen wurde. Eisenberg hat sechs verschiedene Videos professionell synchronisieren lassen; vier stammen von Demonstranten, zwei von der Polizei. Sie wurden so nebeneinandergestellt, dass sie das Geschehen gleichzeitig aus verschiedenen Perspektiven zeigen.
Das wird ja immer spannender. Da verprügeln Polizisten einen harmlosen Demonstraten - und was machen die filmenden Polizeibeamten, die solche Vorfälle eigentlich dokumentieren sollen? Sie schauen weg. Das nenne ich ja mal vorbildliches Verhalten. Unglaublich sowas...
ICC and Funkturm in a Rainbreak
After the last days of raining, I think we already got beyond the long year average for a November within the first 4 days of the month, there was a rainbreak yesterday as I crossed the city autobahn at Halensee.
The picture is a bit blurry but IMO nevertheless catches the moment quite well. Illuminated the Funkturm and the ICC, the sky all gray and the rising damp from the fresh rain. That's the other nice side of autumn - I could pass the rainy part between the two nice conditions though ;-)
