going bald
Vets are baffled at this strange sight: Dolores, a spectacled bear at the Leipzig Zoo in Germany has gone bald!
It could be due to a genetic defect but the animals don’t seem to be suffering any other afflictions.
The normally fluffy dark brown bears should be now growing a thick fur coat to keep them warm during the winter.
One thing the lack of hair shows up in their huge, lethal claws.
But instead the bears, which once originated from South America, have begun developing nasty rashes and inflammations on their skin where their glossy coats should be.

WONDERED what this was at first glance! WOW!

Today can be described as "early" for two reasons:
1) I am thinning early. 30 is far too early in life to be losing one's hair.
2) I am starting my 8dave flickr stream early. This is mainly because I am impatient, but also because I received a lovely new second-hand flash today, from ebay. A Nikon SB-10 - and it works very nicely with my D50 thankyouverymuch. Bargain. I thought, a nice new flash warrants a nice new flickr stream.
So here we are. Flickr will no longer be a photographic dumping ground for me. My last stream was a mess. This will be good. Enjoy.
Coming straight off the old friar tuck. We had to go somewhere and the only place was down to the wire and straight on the bone. I'm angry like an angry person.
I just finished filming tonight and this is what I have to wake up to tomorrow. Yikes.

(so much vanity, I know)
