twitter/flickr logo designed on iPhone-Pt2.
Having decided on the concept/imagery of the hand/hand+finger it was a matter of refining that image into a logo and getting the balance and proportions right. The images shown here in 'Part Two' are a selection from the hundreds of similar experiments I created inPhone whilst attempting to get the color and balance right. I was quite surprised that in the end I opted for a simple and clean black & white logo (The final image in this series) and one without any type. I felt the finished logo (which I now use as my twitter flickr vimeo badges) should stand up on it's own and that it has the versatility to add type at a later date to suit where the logo might be used.
