500M Row Max Effort x 2 (Men Rx < 1:35 Women Rx < 1:45 both on resistance 10)
“Bear Complex”
5 Rounds
7 Sets of the following sequence:
1 Power Clean
1 Front Squat
1 Push Press
1 Back Squat
1 Push Press
500M Row: 1:27.7 (on 10 - lungs destroyed, but I can do better)
Bear: 95# / 100# / 105# / 110# / 115#
The row is still one of my strengths. I'm not sure how it will stack up to the rest of the crew (get it), but it felt pretty fast. I could do better though. I was on pace for a 1:24 and slowed in the last 150M. I think I was content beating the 1:35 and a fellow Crossfitter who just rowed a 1:32.
Bear was tough. The grip had to be one of the hardest things about it. I almost lost it a couple of times and had to rest with the weight on my lap. I made it through okay and my Cleans are getting better.
I'm also way behind on the December Burpee challenge. I forgot Friday, didn't do it over the weekend, and I didn't have time to do it before I left today. So I'm 44 behind as of today. I can either do some today or do a nice 60 tomorrow morning to warm up. Slaughter said it wouldn't be so bad until the end of the month. But he didn't account for slacking and weekends - damn it!
