The fog made it tough for still shots once things got deep into the morning; I'll try and post some video to fill in those gaps. What I've put in the gallery here represents my own experience from the walk-thru the morning before, to the night of and thru the night of, and on into the morning. Special thanks to Brian Smith, who walked thru the dark cemetery with me countless times thru the night making sure everything was right. It was certainly all right.

I also really liked the photos here and here, which include some great band / monks shots.

Zurich is one of the nicest cities that I had visited on this trip. Not only it has beautiful sceneries, the place is clean and well-organized. The transport infrastructure is really convenient, on time and efficient. People are also environmentally conscious and they take the effort to split or recycle their trash.

If there is one thing I don't like about Zurich or the other cities that I visited on this trip, it is the public toilets. One might need to pay up 2 Swiss franc just to use the public toilet!

I was there for a meeting held over the weekend with a few local colleagues. It was a great opportunity to know fellow colleagues who are based in other regions.

There was this interesting team building challenge where we have to eat some cherries and try to spit it as far as possible into a star-shaped area. Points are awarded depending where the seed land. It was really funny that during the eating part, some of my team mates ended up swallowing the seed instead!

I also got the chance to try out the Alphorn though the best I did was emitting a monotonous tone from it while others manage to play some tunes with it.

The biking tour, led by the amazing Daniel Wyss was a memorable experience. Cycling uphill on the Swiss mountains was definitely more challenging than I had expected though the ride downhill is simply exhilarating!

"To enjoy the ride downhill is an uphill task."

I'm looking at lots of people that didn't walk around midtown searching for rubber boots today. Ya'lls Chucks and flip flops are in trouble. I'm all set though. With vibrancy.

I had fun. It was the most time I've ever spent in a big city. Joey came in from Lake Geneva yesterday and I was happy to see him. I miss Wisconsin and the lake.

It's very different from where I call home and what I'm used to. I don't know yet if I would like to live the city life. I do know that I spent too much money. I stuck my foot in Lake Michigan yesterday. And I wandered around where Lollapalooza takes place. Weird that it's right in the middle of such a congested area. Jennie and I wanted so badly to eat at the resteraunt that's in The Time Traveler's Wife (Clare and Henry met there) but we didn't find it. We think it may have disappeared or Joey says that it was just a joke that it never existed. We searched all over Clark Street in Lincoln Park. But we did get to see Mollys Cupcakes. It's more beautiful than I imagined.

But I just realized that in St. Augustine I won't have a car for a week anyway so I can manage with zero dollars until the paychecks start rolling in again. I was thinking I could pick up shifts during the week I'm in St. Augustine but...I just realized that without a car I guess I can't. I won't spend any money if I can't leave my immediate home though right? That will be interesting. It's noon and I've yet to get out of bed. Jennie will be home soon I hope. Maybe I'll take a shower...

My hands still smell of fresh squeezed limes.

I met lots of new people and got to see old friends, too. I loved today and I am super glad to be in Chicago. Life lessons came out during vegetable chopping and lime juice squeezing: Everyone's greatest strength is their greatest weakness and it's beautiful. And... oh shoot...I forget the second epiphany. It was good though.

I do miss Wisconsin but Chicago is really fun in a really different way. We made dinner. I went on the water taxi. We went to the shopping places and ate at Billy Goats or something? They weren't very friendly there. Oh and I went to Trader Joe's for the first time (! Duck People) and then Andy, Nate and Liz brought home Trader Joe's white bean hummus and it was simply the best tasting thing I have ever had in my mouth. Ever.

out on the lake alllll day with David, Colleen and their friend Eric. Then we ate Potbellys. It's weird to think that there are restaurants here that are nonexistent in Florida. Whitewater was really fun. Margot at the Wedding is a good movie.

Joey says we are going to Whitewater to see Colleen and David's place. I hope it's fun. I do love hanging out with them. Last night we went to Nick's and hung out in his playhouse.

David and Garrett were there too. Fun fun fun. It was the second time I've seen Garrett and it was surprisingly nice to see him again. He told me he used to play tennis with Sean Carey of Bon Iver! Holy cow how neat is that. I guess he lives up there slash is from there slash goes slash went to school there. !

Tomorrow is Wednesday. I like it here. I wish I could stay longer.
