A book I'd love to see
In preparation for a Left 4 Dead 2 release party (tomorrow, post to come), I've had L4D fever (see NES-style l4d post below). I started wondering what other things L4D could lend itself towards and came up with this. I used to love the Choose Your Own Adventure series. The on going theme throughout was the story continually ending in your own demise.
Kill the shark from a safe distance? go to page 16, or Swim away? go to page 40. I'll swim away....(turning pages) Too slow! Chomp! A searing pain enters your right thigh, blood filling the water-- if only you had killed that shark after all...The End.
What better story for CYOA than Left 4 Dead? Zombie infested locales? Check. Nail-biting decisions at every corner? Check. This book writes itself.
