Celui qui ne vous fait pas payer peut poursuivre d’autres buts : se faire connaître, par exemple. "Je suis gratuit pour vous montrer que je le vaux bien". Un peu comme ces échantillons qu'on vous offre chez les parfumeurs. Vous testez parce que ça ne vous coûte rien et si vous aimez, M. Marionnaud ou Mme Sephora seront contents de vous délester un peu de votre surplus financier. Sur Internet, l’équivalent de l’échantillon promotionnel, ce sont ces logiciels qu’on peut télécharger et utiliser gratuitement pendant quinze jours, par exemple, avant de devoir les acheter pour continuer. On les appelle "shareware" en anglais et généralement "version d'essai" en français. Ça a le mérite d'être clair : on sait quand ça va s'arrêter d'être gratuit. But yesterday we got our second chance. The gig was great, but it wasn't the best I've ever seen. Actually, I agree with what Thomas De Soete had to say about the concert yesterday.
Tight drums, lovely accent, but they didn't play 'Teddy Picker'. I guess that's part of the 'we're growing up' attitude Thomas DS talks about.
Nothing more to say except that I like it. Wish I had his little recorder and mic too. Nice song and Domino is all over it. I particularly like the way his belt flops over.
This video is so cool. The way they made this little boat and shot the band in it is wonderful. The green screen of this video is remarkably undetectable and well, perfect for all the action they needed the band to be doing throughout. Love the lights on the boat's mast and when the "rock god band" comes out of the sea, the expressions on the band's faces are priceless. I think Domino is doing some pretty amazing promotion of their bands these days by making some fabulous music videos.
Everyone have their opinion on what they think about Arctic Monkeys web transmission. Personally I love it, Alex just step up his style, "Do you guys notice those boots/shoes he use. I really have to find those". The songs are amazing, I mean it's the Arctic Monkeys of course they will turn up amazing (later for some). Since majority Arctic Monkeys fans are teenagers who loves indie, this might have efect them a bit. This kind of music are not the familiarity of indie-teens, I'm not sure what it was, but I called it Psychedelic Rock. For me it's not a big deal since I'm also a big fans of the Beatles.
