Grayson is rapidly becoming a favorite of mine.  I am not necessarily in line with his politics, but I love his pit bull approach to his role.  This clip is a brilliant dressing down of the whole Acorn obsession currently distracting Congress from more pressing business.

Tip of the hat to Glenn Greenwald for this clip.

My friend, John Jansen (JJ) posted this clip on his Facebook page yesterday.  Good thing, too – I had missed it. According to JJ, "a smart ass is better than a dumb ass."

I agree and I sleep a little better at night knowing there are Constitutional wonks like Russ Feingold, Robert Byrd, Paul Ryan and this guy – Rep. Alan Grayson – keeping an eye on things in the House and Senate.

Did ACORN make mistakes? Of course.  And they should correct them.  Play by the rules.

But organizations that facilitate the right to vote to Americans – any American – are not the bad guys. (How much have we spent over the past 10 years democratizing countries around the world by promoting open elections?)

I agree with Rep. Grayson. Republicans -- get over it. Let’s move on.

A two-part interview with Alan Grayson, the congressman who is posing tough questions to Bernanke, chairman of FED. The Grayson's point of view here is: In all times, transparency. In tough times, America first.

"In this incredible interview Congressman Grayson discusses corruption at the Federal Reserve, the SEC and his tough questioning of Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke this week, we also discuss his take on Bernankes responses and much more. Congressman Alan Grayson was the first President of IDT Corp., a telecom/internet company. It grew to be a $2 billion-a-year business, on the Fortune 1000 list, and traded on the New York Stock Exchange. In short, Alan has lived the American Dream, starting a successful business and seeing it grow."

WASHINGTON – In a triumph for President Barack Obama, the Democratic-controlled House narrowly passed sweeping legislation Friday that calls for the nation's first limits on pollution linked to global warming and aims to usher in a new era of cleaner, yet more costly energy.
