ティアックは10月15日、iPhoneや最新iPodシリーズに対応したサウンドシステム「R-4i」を発表した。11月5日から発売する。

R-4iは、英NXTが新開発した「BMR（Balanced Mode Radiator）ユニット」の採用により、高さ53.5mmのスリムデザインを実現したiPod対応サウンドシステムだ。トップパネルには第5世代iPod nano（8Gバイト／16Gバイト）、iPod classic（160Gバイト）、第2世代、第3世代iPod touch（8Gバイト32Gバイト／64Gバイト）に対応したiPodドックを採用している。

本体には、大型のジョグダイヤルや操作ボタンを配置し、使いやすさを考慮したとのこと。プリセット可能なAM/FMラジオ、アラーム機能なども搭載する。出力は10W＋10Wで、店頭想定価格は2万円前後となっている。

寝室での利用に向いてそうですね。

The Touchlite comes with a mirror screen protector and a microfiber cleaning cloth. It is priced at $26.90.
