Late last week by busy busy schedule started up once again. It's times like this when I rely heavily on my planner.
Last Wednesday and Thursday I worked at Make-A-Wish in the Detroit office. Right now I'm coordinating police assistance with the
Wish-A-Mile 300 Bicycle Tour (WAM). Then on Friday I went to the beach with Courtney, Annie, and Olivia... but it was way too chilly to go swimming so we only stayed for a few hours then went home.
Saturday was the 4th of July so Courtney and I went out to my uncle's lake house in the Irish Hills with my parents and the rest of my extended family. We ended up camping out in their yard and spending all day sunday hanging out and swimming and whatnot. It was probably the best weekend I've had so far this summer. It was nice and relaxing and I got a lot of sun!
Today, I was back at MAW so that I could call and talk to more police officers and tomorrow will probably be the same. I am working all day (9am to 9pm) at the Wyandotte Street Fair with my uncle so this leaves Wednesday as my only day off this week. Wednesday will be a fun filled day of laundry and packing because early early Saturday morning my parents are I are leaving to go out to our cottage in Indian River for a week. And I will probably be doing a whole lot of MAW work while I am there since WAM is right after I get home and I am super super busy.
Three days after I get home from vacation I will be leaving and driving all over the state working the MAW's Wish-A-Mile Bike Tour for 4 days. As soon as I get back from WAM, I am house/dog sitting for one of my uncles for an entire week. After i get back from house sitting, I have 6 days to have all of my belongings packed and ready to move back to Grand Rapids.
I just have to remember to breathe.
And here are some pictures like usual. Pictures are from the Detroit Science Center, fireworks over Devils Lake, and a baby Pom shaved to look like a lion.
